How do I print reports?
This “how do I” explains what you should do if you are a member of the admin staff responsible for printing reports or if you are teacher responsible printing your own reports.
Admin Staff
When a teacher has completed their reports within the AdKlass system they will click on the Ready to print reports button. AdKlass will generate their reports in PDF format which you will able to print from your computer.
Click Start on your Windows desktop and select Run from the menu, type \\AdKlass (or the brand name selected by your school) into the input box.

You may be prompted for a user name and password, enter the ones supplied by your AdKlass administrator and click on the OK button.

Double click on the Reports folder followed by the folder named after your school. Double click on the folder for the current year, a list of folders named after classes with reports ready to be printed will then be shown.

Double click on the folder named after the class whose reports you would like to print. Select the report(s) you want to print; hold the Ctrl key down as you click on each filename to select multiple files or use the Edit, Select All menu to quickly select all listed files.

When the appropriate reports are all highlighted, select the Print option from the File menu to print them.

Your reports will be printed on your default printer.
This method will only work if you have Adobe ® Acrobat ® Reader installed on the PC, if this program is not installed please contact your ICT administrator or download via www.adobe.com.
Teacher
If you are a teacher responsible for printing your own reports you can use the Download to edit link to check your reports in Word or another word processing program before printing via the usual manner. If you are happy with your reports within AdKlass and would just like to print them:
Click on the Pupils button on the top of the AdKlass webpage.

Your class list will be displayed, at the bottom of the page click on the Download reports as PDFs button.

Depending on the number of pupils in your class and the length of your reports it can take AdKlass a few minutes to produce all of your reports, please be patient. When the generation of your reports has been completed the File Download dialog will appear.

Click on the Save button to save your reports on your computer. The reports will be saved in a ZIP file format.

Windows XP and above have built in support for this type of file, to extract your reports from the zip file, right click on the file and select Extract All…

Click through the Extraction Wizard to create a folder named after your class containing your reports.

Double click on the folder named after your class.
Select the report(s) you want to print; hold the Ctrl key down as you click on each filename to select multiple files or use the Edit, Select All menu to quickly select all listed files.

When the appropriate reports are all highlighted, select the Print option from the File menu to print them.

Your reports will be printed on your default printer.
