How do I edit report comments from home? 

As well as editing your pupil’s assessment offline you can also edit the comments that will accompany the statements within the reports.

Downloading Report Comments

Similar to when you are assessing your pupils on statements the first step is to download the report comments into the offline client before you leave school (even if you are yet to make any). Click on the Pupils button in to the blue header bar.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Download report comments button.

The Personalise Reports dialog will appear with any comments you are already made present.

Click on the Close button and you are ready to take you computer home to work on your report comments.

h3.Writing Comments At Home

Once at home click on the AdKlass Offline Report Comments shortcut on your desktop to load the Personalise Reports dialog. To create personal comments for your reports select the desired pupil from the Pupil drop down list.

Any comments you have previously inputted for the pupil will be already be there.

Select from the Subject list the subject you would like to write the comments about.

Type into the input boxes your comments for the pupil.

Comments that have been typed into the Comments before assessment report will appear above the AdKlass generated statements with in the subject’s section of the pupil’s report.

Comments that have been typed into the Comments after assessment report will appear below the AdKlass generated statements with in the subject’s section of the pupil’s report.

Comments typed in the Personal/General comments input box will appear in their own section with in the pupil’s report.

Once you have completed writing the comments you can click on the Close button and your work will be automatically saved by the assessment program. There is no need to click a save button.

Uploading Your Comments

Once you have returned to school and connected your computer to the school’s network the next step is to upload your comments to the AdKlass server. Reload the Personalise Reports dialog via the AdKlass Offline Report Comments shortcut on your desktop.

Click on the Upload to server button to begin the upload process to the AdKlass server.

Your comments will then be uploaded to the server; the Upload to server button will not be present if you are not connected to the schools network. To get the dialog to check for the school’s network again, click Close and then reload the dialog via the desktop shortcut.
