How do I grade a pupil?
Once you have logged into AdKlass you can grade/assess pupils by navigating through the strands to the statement on which you wish to grade the pupils. Click on the subject or level you wish to grade.
NOTE: Your homepage may have different strands depending on the strands on your system or the group you are assessing. Please select one of the links within the Strands section to begin grading.
Navigate through the strand by clicking the appropriate links on the page. For example, if you wanted to grade the statement He can make simple comparisons and relate differences and similarities between objects and living things within Obtaining Evidence, within Investigative science, within Science:




Once you reach the required statement, click on the appropriate numbered buttons to grade your pupils. To mark a pupil below average click on the number 1 button in line with their name, the circle is highlighted in red to show you have successfully set the grade:

To grade a pupil as average click on the number 2 button, the button is highlighted in orange to show the grade has been set. To grade a pupil as above average click on the number 3 button, the button is highlighted in green to show the grade has been set.

As the button is highlighted with a colour the grade applied to the pupil is immediately saved on the server, there is no need to click a save button on this page.
To change the grade assigned to a pupil, click on a different numbered circle by the pupil’s name.
To clear a grade given to a pupil click on the X button by the pupil’s name, this will reset the pupil back to un-graded.
To clear grades for the whole class, click on the X button next to All Pupils at the top of the list of individual pupils.
To assign all pupils in the class the same grade, click on the appropriate All Pupils numbered button at the top of the list of individual pupils.
If a strand includes more than one statement, click on the Select another statement link to access the alternative statements.
